Advertised applications under the Radioactive Substances Act 1993
There are no requirements under the Radioactive Substances Act 1993 to publically consult on applications for authorisations or registrations. However, public consultation can be carried out for more contentious applications, and in accordance with SEPA practice, it is carried out on applications for new authorisations, and for substantial variations to existing authorisations, relating to nuclear sites.
