Notify SEPA about the management of radioactive sources
To notify SEPA, you need to know:
- the legal person in control of managing the radioactive source;
- the type of radioactive source;
- the location where the source is kept.
If you have this information, it should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete the notification form.
- You must submit separate notifications for each location
- There is no fee to make a notification

After you notify us
It'll be valid for 3 years from the date of notification.
You'll need to renew it if you still keep and/or use the radioactive source after this date.
Surrender your notification
If you no longer keep and/or use the radioactive sources covered by your notification, you can surrender the notification by contacting us.
