Leisure
The environmental impacts of air travel are well publicised,
however there are many other elements that the leisure, tourism and
hospitality industries need to consider when assessing the
environmental impact of their business.
From the correct ways to store and dispose of cooking oil to
limiting the noise pollution from music and entertainment, SEPA
provides information and guidance to make you aware of your
environmental requirements and to help ensure that your business is
compliant.
SEPA would always prefer to prevent pollution through education
and understanding rather than prosecution. However, failure to
comply with regulations is a criminal offence, and that can result
in a substantial fine. Investing some time at the outset will not
only protect the environment but will ultimately save you time and
money.
